Part Time Office Assistant
Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support a company just ONE day a week. The Part-Time Office Assistant position is located in Montgomery, Al and would be perfect for someone looking to supplement their income with minimal hours in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Re-label and reorganize file folders
- Sort and file miscellaneous paperwork
- Alphabetize and file contracts
- File current invoices
- Sort and file personnel paperwork into individual personnel files
- Audit personnel files using a checklist to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Load file boxes for storage (no heavy lifting required)
- Coordinate with administrative staff for transport of boxes to storage
Ongoing Support (Post-Project):
- Perform maintenance filing once the file room is cleared
- Assist with spreadsheet tracking and audit-related tasks
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Prior administrative, filing, or records management experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and following checklists
- Basic computer skills (spreadsheets and document tracking)
- Ability to stand, bend, and handle files
- No heavy lifting required
