Are you an Administrative Assistant with a banking/ finance background?  Then we are looking for you!

A local financial institution is looking for a Mortgage Administrative Assistant to join their growing team.


The Mortgage Administrative Assistant will:

  • Audits and delivers monthly, all denied files to the Records Department.
  • Provides secretarial support to the Mortgage Services Department.
  • Ensures daily, that all online mortgage applications are complete, assigned and delivered to a loan originator.
  • Prepares and collects all billing for member fees associated with denied or withdrawn files.
  • Handles all incoming communications and proper distributions to resolve all issues.
  • Audits and delivers monthly, all funded loan files to QA and the Records Department.
  • Manages and orders all department supplies.
  • Handles the centralized scheduling of appointments and accommodates all walk-in interviews.
  • Assists loan originators with loading applications, pulling credit and ordering tax transcripts.
  • Provides and processes payoffs for first and second mortgages.
  • Provides member service support concerning member inquiries and complaints.
  • Completes all training as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


The Mortgage Administrative Assistant will have: 

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Previous secretarial/receptionist experience in a banking/finance environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, multi task environment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel (will be tested)
  • Professionalism in all aspects of the job duties
  • Familiarity with banking practices and procedures
  • Education requirements:

           (1)A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a

           business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
