Insurance Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are searching for an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative for an insurance office located in Prattville, Al. The Insurance Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering customer queries, processing payments, and providing potential customers with detailed information about insurance products.
What You’ll Do:
- Answer calls and respond to customer concerns
- Access customer accounts, policy, and billing schedules
- Provide customer with detailed information about policies and products
- Forwarding customers to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated
- Record customer interactions reports
- Manage the customer inquiry database
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of database software
- Advanced knowledge of telephone and call-forwarding systems
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to learn and explain detailed policy concepts in a simple way
- MUST become P&C Insurance Licensed within 6 months of employment
The pay rate for the Insurance Customer Service Representative is $15/hour depending on experience and skill sets.
