Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to support two attorneys in a busy law firm located in Montgomery, Al. The ideal candidate must have experience as a Legal Assistant and will bring strong organizational and computer skills, a collaborative attitude, and hands-on experience in the Legal field, preferably in workers' compensation and insurance. The Legal Assistant position is a direct hire placement!
What You’ll Do as a Legal Assistant:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to two attorneys
- Draft and format legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain and organize case files and schedules
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and other parties as needed
- Assist in preparing for hearings, meetings, and depositions
- Work collaboratively with the legal team to ensure smooth office operations
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have working experience as a Legal Assistant
- Experience as a legal assistant or similar legal support role
- Must have 3-5 years experience working in a legal office environment
- Familiarity with workers’ compensation and insurance law is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team setting

The pay range for the Legal Assistant position is $36k-$50k annually depending on experience and skill sets.
