Administrative Assistant and Special Events Coordinator
Job Description
We are searching for an Administrative Assistant and Special Events Coordinator for a business located in Pike Road, Al. The Administrative Assistant and Special Events Coordinator will work closely with Realtors and the Home Owners Association to ensure all aspects of the community is working properly (such as property repairs, scheduling new resident orientations, greeting and talking with residents, addressing concerns with residents, attending board and neighborhood meetings)
What You’ll Do:
- Greet people and answer phones
- Event Planning (Easter Egg Hunt, Santa at the Square, Fall Festival, Back to School Splash Bash, Hot Dog School is Out, Canned Food Drive, Kids Club events, movie nights etc)
- Maintaining neighborhood venue rentals
- Creating quarterly resident newsletter
- Maintaining/updating Access Database
- Assisting with new resident orientation and amenity cards
- Maintaining/updating website
- Maintaining/updating residents golf cart information
- Neighborhood update email (weekly)
- Maintaining/updating homeowner files
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to work well with others
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Capability of managing several tasks
- Ability to plan and organize community special events
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in an administrative position
- High School Diploma/GED
- Capability of working in a very fast-paced environment without losing focus
The pay rate for the Administrative Assistant and Special Events Coordinator is $15/hour.
