Accountant

We are searching for an Accountant to join a local Accounting Firm located in Montgomery, Al.  The Accountant will assist with various accounting duties as well as full office support.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Create journal entries
• Analyze financial data
• Account reconciliations and research and correct account discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare tax returns
• Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory management
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
• 2 years of accounting experience
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Experience with accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The pay range for the Accountant is $55k-$65k/annually depending on experience and skill sets.
